Elizabeth Harcourt

After completing a BA in Psychology from Rhodes College in 1994, Elizabeth began working collaboratively with children and families to preserve family structures. This journey spanned 15 years, during which time she earned an MSSW in 2000 and became an LCSW in 2006.

In recent years, Elizabeth began to work with adults experiencing mental health challenges and substance use. She has worked in both direct practice and mental health leadership positions, shaping services and adapting resources to the needs of populations served.

Elizabeth provides psychotherapy in her Memphis office to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Her approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. She listens with a trained ear and responds to each person’s unique situation. Her approach is direct, honest, judgment-free, and focused. Elizabeth offers concrete, customized solutions to relieve bothersome symptoms in order to improve lives and relationships.

She enjoys walking alongside people overcoming both mental health and substance use issues and collaboratively discovering true and lasting recovery.
